使用 LABEL MATRIX 建立新的標籤範本非常簡單，這都要感謝易於使用的介面和提供便利的精靈。
首先，我們可以使用新標籤文件精靈，這個精靈會在 LABEL MATRIX 啟動後自動顯示。在這個螢幕上，我們可以選擇針對要建立的標籤更改相關參數。但是就本例而言，我們將選擇預設值，然後點按「下一步」。在這個螢幕上，我們可以選擇為標籤增加描述。但是就本例而言，我們不需要描述，因此我們將描述欄位留白，然後點按「完成」。這樣，標籤已經建立完成，可以進行設計了。
例如，我需要為工業零件建立一個產品標籤。首先，我需要增加一些文字，因此我將按一下大寫字母 A 來產生文字。然後，輸入我想要的文字。然後，選擇「字體」選項卡，選擇所需的字體，最後按一下「確定」。現在文字已經在標籤上了，我可以按一下並拖曳，按照自己的想法選擇一個位置來放置文字。
